Flower Power: Primroses

What a beautiful flower the primrose?!
It was a rainy Washington day when I decided to plant so cheery bright flowers for the house. I went to QFC and bought these delightful primroses and pansies. Such variety I found in the colors available this year.

I went with primroses when staging our house this spring for several reasons. Primroses are a very popular flower that many people plant every year. They last a long time if treated right. Also these brightly colored blooms just seem to make the whole house seem more cheery.   Front porch potted flowers

But if you plant primroses in front you must plant some in the back!

I found the little pansies just darling.

I think my favorite was the hot pink one with the yellow stamen.

Here is a close up of the violet. So beautiful.

Then I went inside the store and really bought some flowers!!! My favorite flowers of all are orchids. They are so elegant and expensive that they brighten up every space and command a smile. So when I saw this yellow and hot pink phaleonopsis

I just couldn’t resist!

  She is just lovely
